Counter-rotating helical ribbons or ploughshares
Two counter-rotating spiral/helical ribbons convey the material inwards and outwards at the same time: the components are constantly turned over and evenly distributed, gently and without material loss. Ploughshare mixers break up agglomerates.
Ribbons run close to the trough wall and floor: short mixing times, no dead zones.
